Cozy Experimental Aircraft Update – October 7, 2017

Removed the clamps from the heat duct following overnight curing. Fabricated two safety belt anchor points by cutting two 2″ lengths of 3/8″ diameter 2024 aluminum tube. Removed foam from the heat duct for one of the safety belt anchor tubes and the fuel line. Shop temperature was 23 deg C and 48% humidity. Mixed …

Drilled holes through the fiberglass in the triangular braces for the aluminum tube. Used 5 minute epoxy to put the top pieces of the heat duct together. Clamped the 3 heat duct pieces to a 2 x 4 for trial fit before floxing. This took awhile to get the pieces oriented and aligned correctly. Shop …

Citabria Update – September 30, 2017
