The annual inspection was completed last week and this morning we were able to take the plane up for a post maintenance flight. Why is there always a crosswind ??? Today’s flight video. Dave doing the post flight paper work while Jason puts his feet up since no snags were found.
Annual inspection day one, plus some minor repairs to the paint on the left wing. Fine sanded the area and covered it with UV protection prior to painting.
Cut four 10″ x 2″ strips of BID cloth at 45 deg orientation. Shop temperature was 25 deg C and humidity 48%. 46g resin was mixed with 18g hardner. Wet out two sets of the strips (2-ply each) with the epoxy. Wet the inside corners of the lower firewall with epoxy. Poured some of the …
