Beyond Blue Aerospace had a fun and educational day on Saturday April 25, 2026 with the Peterborough Air Cadets.
The morning started off with discussions about the Canadian Space Launch ecosystem followed by an overview of model rocketry.

Next up the cadets built and decorated their own rockets with awards going to the top 5 best looking rockets.

This was followed by a game of outer space trivia. A small prize was awarded each time a cadet answered the question correctly. The cadet who answered the most questions correctly won a lunar globe. This was chosen as the gift in recognition of former Air Cadet Jeremy Hansen’s recent flight around the moon as part of the Artemis II crew.

Then after lunch, we launched the model rockets in three salvos.

What a blast !!!
