Here is a short video clip of this morning’s flight in the Kawartha practice area. Departed CYPQ and flew to 5000′ ASL over Bobcaygeon and Big Island.
Cut three 1.5″ thick blocks of wood and used wood screws to secure them together. Created a paper template of the fuselage bottom corner shape and marked it onto the stack of blocks then used a band saw to cut it to shape. Used a spray adhesive to secure sandpaper to the block. …

Removed all the foam on the outside of the upper longeron and LWY starting 5.5″ forward of the firewall, and tapering the foam down to where it is removed along the longeron and LWY so the glass will conform. Tapered the sides from a point 25″ forward of the firewall back to the firewall. …
