Trimmed and sanded the aft landing gear bulkhead taped corners. Positioned the forward landing gear bulkhead in place 8 inches forward of the aft landing gear bulkhead and centred it.  Lots of sanding to get it in the right location.

Verified that the 0.25″ drill bit touches both pieces of wood when pushed through the 0.25″ hole in each of the forward landing gear bulkhead hardpoints.
