A successful road trip to Guelph today to pickup a centresection jig which will be used to fabricate the main spar for the COZY MK IV … The jig made it back to our workshop and is safely stored under the work table.
A successful road trip to Guelph today to pickup a centresection jig which will be used to fabricate the main spar for the COZY MK IV … The jig made it back to our workshop and is safely stored under the work table.
Sanded LWX & LWY corners and vacuumed. Shaped foam (using a utility knife, coping saw, and 5-minute epoxy) to fit in the area between LWX, LWY, and the lower longerons on both fuselage sides.

Shop temperature was 25 deg C and humidity 40%. 30g resin was mixed with 11g hardner. About half of the epoxy was poured into another cup and glass bubbles were added to the original cup to create dry micro. Dry micro was applied to the applicable corners of stringers LWX and LWY using a popsicle …
