Launching parties around the world every year on or around April 12th, in commemoration of Yuri Gagarin becoming the first human to venture into space on April 12, 1961. We use space to bring the world together, to empower the greatest parts of who we are, and give vision to where we are going.
In celebration of Yuri’s Night 2025 we spent the day on Saturday April 12th with the Peterborough Air Cadets to build and launch model rockets.
The morning was spent at the Peterborough Legion Hall learning about and building rockets.
Then after lunch we launched the rockets !
