Fabricated a 22″ long sanding block from a 2 by 4 and 9 x 11 inch 40 grit piece of sandpaper. The sandpaper was cut in half length wise and glued to the 2 by 4.
Commenced sanding the NACA Scoop’s urethane foam such that it is level from the landing brake to 1/8″ above the forward bulkhead.
Lots of sanding, vacuuming and checking/re-checking with a level and straight edge.
Still more sanding to do.
