On Wednesday June 10, 2026 a Barracuda hypersonic single-stage solid fuel suborbital rocket was launched from Spaceport Nova Scotia. The Barracuda is capable of carrying payloads of up to 40 kilograms to altitudes of approximately 80 km.
The launch occurred at 8:51 ADT. A full analysis of the flight data will continue over the coming weeks. Initial data indicates that the vehicle operated nominally during the powered phase of flight before experiencing an anomaly late in the boost phase.
