The recently taped corners of bulkhead F28 were cut and sanded.
A glue gun was used to temporarily position wooden blocks on each fuselage side 5″ from the firewall. These blocks are used to accurately position the aft landing gear bulkhead.
The aft landing gear bulkhead was sanded to fit and centred in position against the wooden blocks. This positions the bulkhead exactly 5″ in front of the temporary firewall.
The shop temperature was 25 deg C and the humidity 33%. A small cup of thick flox was mixed and applied to the locations along the fuselage sides to mate with the sides of the bulkhead.
The bulkhead was positioned and held against the blocks with clamps and supported underneath by blocks. It’s curing in the workshop overnight at 23 deg C.
