I used a combination of hand saws and the dremel tool for trimming the aft end of the fuselage sides.
I trimmed the aft end of the right fuselage side then trimmed the top longerons at the rear of both fuselage sides. At the aft end I ensured that I had at least 0.5″ of additional length in the longerons from the aft trim lines.
Lastly, I removed the glass and foam in the 8.7″ x 5.5″ areas where the centrespar will mount.
